About

Passion that is what this blog is about.  There are many definitions of passion.
~intense, driving, feeling or conviction, an object of desire or deep interest~
For me it is all this and more.  The following paintings are my passion.  Some of the paintings are taken out of my imagination.  Others are of places in Upstate New York and places I have visited.  My goal is to explore different subjects and challenge myself.  Most of all, to truly enjoy pursuing my passion for painting.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I will.  Thank you for viewing.

Rose Ennocenti Love graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration and Oil Painting.  After graduation, she continued taking painting courses and sold several paintings to private individuals over the years including Strong Memorial Hospital and the annual children’s poster for the Strong Memorial Hospital. Teaching art in the schools, working in the graphic and printing venues were to follow. During a period of two years, she freelanced creating home portraits for Nothnagle Realtors, ReMax Realty and others in the Rochester area. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Pyramid Art Gallery in the annual Arts Auction and the annual Members Show, The Art Forum of the American Association of University Women, The Artist’s Breakfast Group in Our City, Our Home exhibit, Rochester Contempary Art 6x6 Show, The Brown Hound Downtown Bistro located in the Memorial Art Gallery.

The subjects of her paintings are mostly architecture and landscape settings. In the last year, she has begun focusing on a variety of animal portrait paintings which enable her to explore more subjects. Each painting represents something special to her.
